Wickerwork: dried bulrush
Leather straps: 100% natural leather
Textile bag: cotton, waterproof

Rogoz backpack was made as a contemporary interpretation of a logožar wickerbag, used primarily for market food purchase. It is part of the Croatian material culture associated with the dying tradition of wickerwork. Both are made on a loom from the bulrush plant treads. By updating the existing forms and adding new materials and functions, aim of this product was to reintroduce this object and its purpose to younger users.

Product consists of all natural materials, and is 100% hand-crafted. Wickerbag is woven on a loom from dried bulrush, process that can take from 3-5 hours depending on the complexity of the structure. Leather shoulder straps are interlaced afterwards, creating a functional backpack form. Leather comes in variety of colors, and is additionally hot pressed with the products logo which resembles the bulrush and shows our initial inspiration for the item. Waterproof and impregnated textile inside is an independent segment of the bag and in available in two different colors; it protects your belongings from dried bulrush and its raw physique and keeps your belongings safely packed.
